Iznatoraf is a beautiful little village located in the north east of the La Loma y Las Villas district. Its municipal area is split into two separate enclaves: one to west, where the village itself sits and, above all, where its olive groves are located, and another heavily forested area to the north, which comes under the The Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park, belonging more particularily to the Las Villas section. The village is located atop a great hill, at more than 1,000 m above sea level, making it one of the highest in the province. Economic activity in Iznatoraf is based on olive growing and olive oil production as tourism in the sierra de Las Villas is still in its infancy. Outstanding examples of its historical heritage are the church of the Asunción, which was built in the 17th century in a mixture of mannerist and baroque styles,and the mural and entrance to the Virgen del Postigo, declared an Historical Monument in 1985.
