Quesada is a village in the Alto Guadalquivir district where it takes up the central and south western sector. The southern part of its municipal area falls under the Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park, areas where upland forestry predominates. From here, the orography of Quesada descends down to the rivers Toya and Guadiana Menor, with a great deal of natural meadows and clumps of esparto grass concentrated in this vast extension of land. Economic activity depends mainly on olive groves and herbaceous crops, supplemented by an important sheep rearing sector. From among Quesada's artistic heritage we must mention the Rafael Zabaleta Museum House, which contains an interesting collection of paintings by this local artist, the neo-classical parish church of San Pedro y San Pablo, from the second half of the 17th century, the church of the Purísima, from the 17th century, and the gothic Arco de los Santos and the Roman villa at Bruñel.
